Life Music

Harmony is the ability to play/work together. Melody is the notes/script we follow. Everyone frowns and turns there noses up at a terrible sound. The point I'm making is, what kind of "Life Music" does the Church play? And what does those outside of our fold actually hear? Is it a beautiful melodic harmony? Or just something they frown upon? Just something to think about. Be blessed.

What Does God Have To Say About It?

Some of us are in unbearable situations. Our faith, marriages, children, jobs, and health is on the line. You feel trapped and everything around only yells, it's over! You've seen what your circumstances have had to say. You've heard what family and friends think you should do. You yourself have even sided with the cycle of trial. But Beloved, what does God have to say?

In my sincere honesty, this morning my heart was heavy about somethings. My strength was faint. But in faith, I had just enough to say God, "What do you have to say about it?" Maybe you, like me are at that place right now. Where your world is turning upside down and the only one who can do something about it is God. Surprisingly, God does this on purpose. And believe me, He's working on something. Trust HIM.

There are countless stories in the bible where the situation couldn't get any worst.....BUT GOD!!!! If you notice when ever war was on the verge and famine diseases were running rampid, the man of God (believer) at the time was stuck in a rock and a hard place. Some were chained and beaten. Some were just at that place of defeat. In the book of Jeremiah, Jerusalem was at the brink. The people saw the destruction before it happened. They were tortured in their minds "The king of Babylon is about to destroy us"......BUT GOD!!!!

In every testimony there is always a "BUT THIS IS WHAT THE LORD, THE GOD OF ISRAEL SAYS". My question to you and even to myself is "What has God said about it?". In turmoil, we can have the tendency to allow every voice, instruction, suggestion scream louder than God's. Beloved we have to be intentional in our faith. Know who holds your end and your beginning. And if it's God, surrender the outcome to His will and His way. At home find a quiet place. In your car, refuse to turn the radio on. In all places....lol.....turn that addictive cell phone off. Be determined to hear what God has the say about it.

You see, GOD holds the answer, has the answer. As a matter of fact He's probably purposely allowed or created the turmoil in the first place. Why? Because He is Sovereign. His approach is not conventional. We might not like it at all. But He's saying the same thing to us. Hey __________________, that mess in your heart. I don't like it. And after all my signs you're obviously not seeing it. It needs to change. So What I'm going to do is put you in a position where your will and way won't work. I will give you no choice but ME.

This is why God always has the answer. This is why we desperately need to know what He has to say about it. HE KNOWS WHATS GOING ON. HE KNOWS WHAT GOT YOU INTO THE MESS. HE KNOWS WHATS GOING TO GET YOU OUT AND HE KNOWS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO, BELIEVE AND ITS OUTCOME.

Stop making other people the voice of GOD. Stop making your present or past situations the end all be all. Do what I had to do this morning and ask God "WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT?" And don't let up until you hear from your Heavenly Father. Persistence never fails with God. (LUKE 11:5-13) Be encouraged...

Unconditional Obedience

Beloved, We do what is right out of our love and reverence for God. Not because the situation calls for it or because people deserve it. Everytime we allow people, places, and things to move us out of our obedience (love and reverence) to God we've made that very thing god. What ever has the power, access, or ability to control your acts and responses is your god. That shouldn't be so, that's God's place.

We love and respect people out of our love and reverence for God, not because people deserve it. We fight the good fight of faith in our situations and circumstances, not because it looks promising, but because we trust God and what He says our outcome will be.

Beloved, develop tunnel vision. Keep your eyes fixated on God. Meditate daily on how you can show your love and reverence for God. Then find the most unloving and love the hell OUT of them. In the worst of situations believe the hell OUT of it.

Beloved, none of us deserve the grace and mercy given to us. None of us deserve the million chances to do things right but it's all been given to us daily. And if any of us can claim to be recipients of such blessings then in us exist the ability to share it. Not because people deserve it or because our situation calls for it, but because we love and reverence God. When ever you got to find a reason outside of God to do what's right, you've just crowned something else god. These things in God's eyes are modern day idols. Put no man, no thing, no thought before God. Instead trust HIM, be ever fearless and strengthen by His grace. Amen.

Encouragement: Build a case for Victory

Beloved, stop building a case for defeat. It is so easy find every reason to give up, quit, and cave in. It's even easier to find people that will quit with you. (Misery loves company) When we can't see a reason to stay in, fight and push on. Know that the just live by faith not by sight. Know that God's Word is filled with solid evidence to build a case for victory. Know that your victory will stretch further than your life time. Each and every victory in the life of a believer will affect generations to come. Just ask Abraham. We're all still being impacted by his faith. We are fighting for more than you know. Be blessed and encouraged. ~Mouth

My Life, not my own.

Beloved, as a believer our life is not our own. It's God's. For we were purchased with a price......Jesus. It's so easy to lose focus and make this walk, this life, about us, but it's not. God desires to be glorified through us. In some amazing way, when we consciously, daily, choose God's will for our lives (where He wants us and what He wants us to do) He satisfies our earnest desires. He knows how to fill those voids in our hearts better than anybody. Beloved, don't be saved still fighting for your will...really surrender. Really sincerely say "God I'm yours. All of me. Every desire and ambition. Not my will but yours". Amen. ~Mouthpi3ce
